In 4V Religion, the students
recently examined the topic of the Gospels. The Gospels or “Good News” written
by Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John form a biographical record of the birth, life,
work, and destiny of Jesus Christ. Celebrated and promoted is the work and
teachings of Jesus and God.
In leading up to their
project, the students were invited to consider the content & comments about
Jesus and God in their text as well as our discussions in class about the
purpose of the Gospels. The students’
task was to then create an Advertisement Poster promoting or presenting Jesus
or God.
In creating their advertisement,
the students were to ensure that an original and creative slogan was displayed
along with the illustration. Both
were to clearly communicate the message relating to Jesus or God which is being
advertised or promoted.
